The original, eye-catching, hammered steel sculpture was hand-made by Jack Augsburger and has been hanging in an outdoor gallery in Central California for more than 50 years.

From the photographs, the fish was “sculpted” in SolidWorks, 3D-printed in a castable material, and then investment cast in bronze. The finished replica stands about 6.50 inches high.
