Designed a potato slicer that delivered potato chip-thin slices for later frying.

A razor-sharp blade is needed to effectively cut potatoes; however, children must be protected from its sharp edge. The design is such that the edge is protected from being touched at all times, but an interlocking mechanism enables an adult to remove the blade and its carrier for cleaning.
