This back brace is to protect the user’s back when lifting  heavy loads.  It is made more effective by the inclusion the force-multiplying tightening mechanism to enable the user to easily cinch the brace around his waist until it is snug.

TG&A developed and modeled the mechanism. We worked with a fabric construction engineer to develop the working prototypes in order to provide the patterns, fabric specifications and the CAD files to the manufacturer to make the finished product.
